These terms are the agreement between you and SaltBlock for using the SaltBlock app and saltblock.app (together, “SaltBlock”). By creating an account or using SaltBlock you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use it.
Who it's for
SaltBlock is for hunters aged 17 and older. It carries hunting content, including trail-camera images of wild game and photos of lawfully harvested animals.
Zero tolerance
There is no place on SaltBlock for objectionable content or abusive users. You may not post or send:
- Harassment, threats, hate speech, or bullying of anyone.
- Sexual, pornographic, or gratuitously violent content.
- Evidence of, or encouragement toward, poaching or any hunting outside the law.
- Another person's private information, including where they hunt.
- Spam, scams, impersonation, or content you don't have the right to share.
Lawful harvest photos are welcome. Gore for its own sake is not.
Reporting and blocking
Every post, comment, and member can be reported from inside the app, and any member can be blocked. A blocked member can't see your posts, comment on them, or message you.
We review every report within 24 hours. Content that breaks these terms is removed, and the account that posted it is removed from SaltBlock.
Where you hunt stays yours
Other members see the county a photo came from. Never a pin, never coordinates. The full detail is on the privacy page.
Your content
You own what you post. You give SaltBlock a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and share it inside SaltBlock and on its public pages, as your privacy settings allow, for as long as it stays posted. Delete it and the license ends.
License to use the app
SaltBlock grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, or build a competing service from it.
Apple
These terms are between you and SaltBlock only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for SaltBlock or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for any claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection, or intellectual property infringement claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as “terrorist supporting,” and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
No warranty
SaltBlock is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. Sightings, reports, and counts are member-supplied and may be wrong. Know and follow your state's hunting laws; SaltBlock is not legal advice. To the extent the law allows, SaltBlock is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of it.
Ending things
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms, without notice.
Changes
If these terms change, the date above changes and members are told in the app. Using SaltBlock after that means you accept the new terms.
